Here’s a new trailer for MY OWN LOVE SONG which stars Renée Zellweger as an former singer who is confined to a wheelchair who embarks on a road trip to Memphsis with her friend played by Forrest Whitaker. On this journey they do come to terms with each others tradegies both have faced and the realisation that they are each others main support in life.
Watching the trailer I get the feel I got a little in The Wrestler and even though Zellweger, Whitakker are both actors who have and still appear in big hollywood made movies this felt nice and refreshing, but its the same old cliche is it any good? I dont really know as this is the first I have heard of it.
The movie has been directed by Oliver Dahan who made the Edith Piaf movie La vie en rose from 2007 with music from none other than Bob Dylan. The movie also stars Madeline Zima (Heros, Californication), Nick Nolte and Elias Kosteas.
This trailer is nealry 4 minutes long and I dont have ay release dates yet for USA or UK & Ireland but it will be out this year.
