This movie according to Filmshaft has been labelled U.K’s Gran Torino or Ive also heard U.K Deathwish but it also been labelled as the best British movie of this year. Sir Michael Caine plays Harry Brown a law Abiding citizen living ex-marine widower living alone in depressing British housing estate where crime and drugs rule the streets. Harry’s only company and best friend Leonard (David Bradley) and when his best friend is murdered he picks up a gun and starts to bring his own justice and take on the thugs and clean up the streets as well bring conflict from the Police.
What we see from the trailer it looks an excellent movie and shows sir michael back in form and proves that he might be 77 but he can still take on the young ones in dark violent movies. Movie also stars Emily Mortimer, Iain Glen and the movie has been directed by Daniel Barber and written by Gary Young .
Movie will be released by Lionsgate movies and will be in the UK cinema’s 13th November
