Invention Of Lying trailer [HD]

TheInventionOfLyingThe last few days the first trailer for Ricky Gervais new film The Invention of Lying has been posted online. The film is set in a reality where no one has ever lied, including politicians right upto the common man or woman. In comes all time looser Mark (Gervais) finds the ability to suddenly lie and he reaps the rewards until everything spins out of control and the whole world depends on every word he says.

Along with Ricky Gervais the film’s line up includes Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Christopher Guest, Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill and Jean Luc Picard aka Patrick Stewart as the narrator.

Ricky Gervais co wrote the film and directed it with Mathew Robinson. The film will be released by Warner Bros and will be out in the UK October 2nd.

Im not a ricky Gervais fan, just found his brand of humour to dry and complicated but if you liked Ghost Town, Im sure you’ll like this.

MR.Nobody Trailer

05Just found this trailer that was posted on the internet a few weeks ago called Mr Nobody starring Jered Leto, Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley and Rhys Ifans. Its an Sci-f/ fantasy romance directed and produced by Jaco Van Dormael a leading Belgium director. This I believe will be his first english Language film, plus the film isnt really been promoted as a hollywood movie but an actual Belgium movie despite the decent english speaking/hollywood cast, is probably why its not well known yet.

Nemo Nobody leads an ordinary existence at his wife’s side, Elise, and their 3 children until the day when reality skids and he wakes up as an old man in the year 2092. At 120, Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore. But that doesn’t seem to interest or bother him very much. The only questions that preoccupy him in the present is whether he lived the right life for himself, loved the woman whom he was supposed to love, and had the children whom he was meant to have… now his purpose is to find the right answer.

There is no definate date yet for a british release date but the 7th October is the release date in Belgium, expect the same date or at least November for UK, enjoy….

Miyazaki’s PONYO on the cliff – Trailer

Ponyo Anyone who Knows me, knows Im a massive fan of Japanese Animation (anime) and especially the work of legendary Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki and the Studio Ghibli. The last Ghibli release was Tales From The Earthsea which got a mixed review and was directed bi Miyazaki’s son Goro and for many year Hayao Miyazaki has said he will retire and time again he comes back, well he’s back with Ponyo on the cliff a adventure centered on a 5-year-old boy and his relationship with a goldfish princess who longs to become human. They are magical fantastically created pieces of artwork and once again this will be another masterpiece which kids of all ages will enjoy, well he’s the only Japanese animator to win a oscar (Spirited Away)

Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchett, tina Fey, Noah Cyrus, Lily Tomlin,Matt Damon and  Betty Davenport all lend their voice acting skills to this film as well

Its just sad many people only think Anime is full of sex hungry monsters, porn, blood and violence, well we have the our media to thank for this, put your negativity to the back for a few hours and go watch this wonderful little animation. The film is been released by Disney probably on limited release, Film will be out in UK August

Agora: Trailer

Doing my daily rounds surfing the net as well as reading the movie mags, I found this trailer for Agora. This historical epic stars Rachel Wiesz as Hypatia of Alexandria who falls in love with a slave Davus (Max Minghella) during Roma Egypt and she then turns to Christianity and all hell brakes loose.

Unsure of the Rating but it’s expected to be released around December 18th im sure itll be a big runner for the Christmas no.1 spot. If it hits the rights spots that Gladiator did Im sure it’ll be no.1, well i hope so I ll take anything over another Jim Carey movie
