The Informant – First Trailer [HD]
The trailer for Matt Damon’s upcoming film THE INFORMANT has been posted online. The film is a tale about high ranking multiglobal comapny board member (Damon) turns whistleblower against his own company due to price-fixing.
He’s plays Mark Whitacre the informant! who gets so excited about becoming a FBI informant he records and narrates his every move, uses as many “spy” gadgets he can get his hands, even check his recording in a middle of a board meeting. Matt damon looks excellent in this trailer and even gained a few pounds (plus grown a moustache) to be more like the real Whitacre (yes this is all based on a true whistleblower). Whitacre gets so deep into the spying theres times he cant split reality from fiction but end of the day he still hails himself a hero of the common people, hmm!
The film also stars Frank Welker (the man who voiced Fred from orginal scooby doo cartoons), Scott Bakula (aka Sam from Qauntim leap or Jonathan Archer Star Trek Enterprise) and Melanie Lynskey (Rose from US ‘comedy’ Two and a half men) and the film is directed by Steven Soderbergh whon Matt Damon has worked with on The Ocean’s eleven films before.
Matt Damon does steal the show here in this film and looks very funny as well as surprise alot of people with it comedy value and has the classiness of the first oceans 11 movie, Ive even read this could possibly get a oscar nonimee for, maybe.
The film is been released by Warner Bros and this looks a good black comedy as we eagly await for the return of Jason Bourne in 2011. The Informant will be out UK, NOVEMBER 6TH
PLANET 51 – trailer
I like my animation and like it when its a little different and PLANET 51 looks like it’ll be a good one.
We are always seen films and animations about aliens coming to earth and the paranoia of alien invasions, what if the roles where reversed? Well Planet 51 thats what happens when a Shrek like inhabitants of Planet 51 paranoia kicks in and a astronaut from earth, Captain Charles “chuck” baker (voiced by the only and only) Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson lands on the planet and he befriends a young resident and helps Capt. Baker avoid capture and get back to his ship and return home.
This will be one enjoyed by evryone as they’ll be jokes the kids will love and the adults will like too. There looks like they’ll spoof up alot of old classic sci-fi, the best one been Planet 51’s pet ‘dogs’ which resemble little Xenomorphs or the things from the Aliens franchise. Theres a massive cast of actors who lend there voice talents to this movie including, sean william scott, justin long, jessica biel, john cleese , Gary Oldman and rupert degas.
The animation is been released by Columbia Pictures and will be out in UK December 4th so this will be one to watch over the Christmas period.
MR.Nobody Trailer
Just found this trailer that was posted on the internet a few weeks ago called Mr Nobody starring Jered Leto, Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley and Rhys Ifans. Its an Sci-f/ fantasy romance directed and produced by Jaco Van Dormael a leading Belgium director. This I believe will be his first english Language film, plus the film isnt really been promoted as a hollywood movie but an actual Belgium movie despite the decent english speaking/hollywood cast, is probably why its not well known yet.
HERE’S THE IMDB PLOT:.
Nemo Nobody leads an ordinary existence at his wife’s side, Elise, and their 3 children until the day when reality skids and he wakes up as an old man in the year 2092. At 120, Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore. But that doesn’t seem to interest or bother him very much. The only questions that preoccupy him in the present is whether he lived the right life for himself, loved the woman whom he was supposed to love, and had the children whom he was meant to have… now his purpose is to find the right answer.
There is no definate date yet for a british release date but the 7th October is the release date in Belgium, expect the same date or at least November for UK, enjoy….

Teddy’s shrewd investigating skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open.
