Warner Bros have released the second trailer for HAPPY FEET 2 the family animated musical adventure. In the 2006 version we had mumble (Elijah Wood) & Gloria (Pink) but now the pair have a son of their own Eric (EG Daily) who is like his his dad struggling to find his place in the Penguin World. The teaser trailer of a few months back was simply terrible, but if your expecting some of improvement you will be disappointed as the new trailer is even worse. First mistake made was replace the great classic rock songs with pathetic rap, R&B music that now the music is unbearable. If I was asked to describe this movie in 3 words – “Charming but cringeworthy” with some films these days that are follow up some are worth a look others like HAPPY FEET 2 are just trying to milk the success of the first movie which should have been the end of it.Despite the decent cast line up this movie will only attract people to see for it’s cuteness but if your desperate to see something with Penguins in it I would probably stick to Jim Carrey‘s Mr Popper’s Penguins which is out August 5th.
HAPPY FEET 2 stars the voices of Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Hank Azaria, Alecia “Pink” Moore, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Sofia Vergara, Elizabeth Daily and will be out in UK&Ireland on Decemburr 2nd Sorry that was bad like this film!
