I completely forgot that Contagion was not Steven Soderbergh‘s last movie but this one HAYWIRE an action packed thriller which today has had its official first trailer and poster premiered at Comic Con. The movie stars MMA fighter Gina Carano which maybe off putting to see she is the lead actress but dont let that distract you as Soderbergh has surrounded her with some experienced actors such as Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas (in a part he made a name for himself in 1980’s-90’s a man with power!) with Michael Angarano, Channing Tatum as Carano’s co-lead and probably love interest.
I’ve noticed a few other sites regarding this movie as nothing special which maybe true however The Limey scribe Len Dobbs has written the script for this movie so it is worth a look when it comes out in in 2012(January 20th 2012 for USA). its earlydays and we have seen alot of movies first trailers leaving us unconviced, so we’re willing to give the movie a chance.
