More Dwarves Revealed For THE HOBBIT: Meet Fili And Kili

Whilst The cast go on a well earned short break before the second block of filming starts in September,we’ve been getting some great first looks at some of the Dwarves in THE HOBBIT. Over the past week we’ve met Dori, Ori & Nori then we met Gimli from The Lord Of The Rings father,Uncle Gloin & Oin and today  MSN revealed 2 more characters Fili and Kili.

Fili is played by Dean O’Gorman with Kili played by Aidan Turner they are 2 of hundreds of Dwarves we’ll meet in THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY which is set for a December 14th 2012 release date, here’s the short synopsis on the brothers:

Two of the youngest Dwarves, Fili and Kili have been born into the royal line of Durin and raised under the stern guardianship of their uncle, Thorin Oakensheild. Neither has ever travelled far, nor ever seen the fabled Dwarf City of Erebor. For both, the journey to the Lonely Mountain represents adventure and excitement. Skilled fighters, both brothers set off on their adventure armed with the invincible courage of youth, neither being able to imagine the fate which lies before them.

THE HOBBIT:AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY will be with us 14th December 2012 with the final part coming 13th December 2013 with THE HOBBIT:THERE AND BACK AGAIN. The cast includes returnees from Lord Of The Rings Sir Ian McKellan, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloo, Ian Holm, Elijah Wood, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving and Andy Serkis with new cast of Richard Armitage, Jed Brophy, Adam Brown, John Callen, Stephen Fry, Ryan Gage, Mark Hadlow, Peter Hambleton, Stephen Hunter, William Kircher, Sylvester McCoy, Bret McKenzie, Graham McTavish, Mike Mizrahi, James Nesbitt, Dean O’Gorman, Lee Pace, Mikael Persbrandt, Conan Stevens, Ken Stott, Jeffrey Thomas, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch , Aidan Turner, Evangeline Lily and Barry Humphries.
