Paramount Pictures have today released the full UK trailer for THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: SECRET OF THE UNICORN first part of an epic animation trilogy directed by Steven Spielberg with Peter Jackson producing. Back in May we got a little glimpse of the teaser trailer which didnt really reveal that much apart from announcing its TinTin and the plot will be on The Secret of The Unicorn. Move on a few months to now we have a glorious full trailer more of the support characters like Haddock, Thomson Brothers with the all round motion capture style giving the characters a feel of realism.
We can now see why Spielberg kept the idea of a motion capped animation a secret not to upset his one time pupil mocap mad Robert Zemeckis , who we know tried and failed miserably. The Secret of The Unicorn is the first of the trilogy of films dedicated to Herge’s famous creation Tin Tin who buys a model ship at a market and he bought more than he bargained for when a map to the lost treasure of the Unicorn is found. Tin Tin and his loyal canine Snowy embark on a journey across many seas, gunfights, chase scenes, high adventures to meeting many new friends along with encounters with his enemy Red Rackham.
This movie does mean business, just look at the cast of actors who voice the characters: Jamie Bell(Tin Tin), Andy Serkis(Captain Haddock), Daniel Craig(Red Rackham), Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook, Cary Elwes, Tony Curran, Daniel Mays.
The Adventures of Tin Tin (The Secret of The Unicorn) will be out in UK & Ireland, 26th October and in the US, December 23rd.
