The first UK (Internaional) poster for Jon Favreau’s COWBOYS& ALIENS has landed on the internet thanks to Universal Pictures via Yahoo UK. Especially when its a movie thats character driven the posters maybe fantastic pieces of work but they do suffer for the same generic things (different characters standing in front of some photoshoped background with the same slogan), so it’s a little refreshing that for this movie our movies 3 main charcaters are now standing in front of one of the invading alien ships! The background does look fantastic but does our heros know one of the nasty aliens there shooting at is sneeking up behind them probably to zap them to smithereens? Silent Alien ship… nice!
COWBOYS & ALIENS stars Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer, Ana de la Reguera, Clancy Brown. The movie is due out in UK &Ireland on August 19th (USA July 29th).
1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger (Craig) with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist.
