2 more clips for JJ Abram’s SUPER 8 have appeared online. The first clip from Monday didn’t reveal much in footage, apart from the Goonies esque group of kids wanting to make a movie. Today’s clips show the kids searching the wrecked train, but still no monster or thing; they have in their possession a rubik cube type thing and I have a that feeling this crash was no accident. In the second clip the kids find an injured man pointing a gun at them. It is a familiar face to the kids who tells them to flee, or they’ll suffer pains, as will their families from the incoming drivers of the vehicles approaching the crash. But who are they?!
There was a recent 20 minute preview this week for UK bloggers/press (we got no invite!?) which did show this movie. It is set to be a big homage to many 1980’s films, a lot of which, were created by the movies executive producer Steven Spielberg. There is still no indication if the mysterious thing in the train is a monster or an extra-terrestrial?
We’ve heard through the grapevine, that there will be a number of clips being released for the movie. So stay tuned for those clips!
