It may not have the worldwide mega following as Harry Potter in book terms but its not far off it in popularity as Horrid Henry is name known worldwide. A Few months back a few eyebrows were raised when the book became the latest to be adpted to the big screen, but wasnt really the news it becoming a movie but Britian’s first ever 3D movie and July 29th we will be able to see for ourselves the final out come when its released by ThePeoples Movies good friends Vertigo Films.
Vertigo Films today have sent us a series of new character poster/banners which shows off all the movies main characters and we totally adore Anjelica Houston who has the charm and personality to play that scary villian.She’ll play Miss Battleaxe henry’s school teacher and if you loved her in Witches, Daddy Daycare she’ll impress us all as Miss Battleaxe!
This will be a big hit with the kids and with a great british cast the parents will know there kids will have something to look forward to this summer.
The first ever British kid’s movie to be filmed in 3D, Horrid Henry: The Movie stars Anjelica Huston as Henry’s terrifying teacher Miss Battle-Axe, alongside, Rebecca Front as Henry’s headmistress Ms Oddbod and Richard E Grant as rival headmaster Vic Van Wrinkle, with Parminder Nagra as Miss Lovely, Noel Fielding makes an appearance as Killer Boy Rats’ frontman Ed Banger, joining Jo Brand as the Demon Dinner Lady, Matthew Horne as Henry’s Dad and Prunella Scales as Great Aunt Greta. And introducing new young stars, including Scarlett Stitt as Moody Margaret, Ross Marron as Perfect Peter and Theo Stevenson leads in the title role as Horrid Henry.
Horrid Henry: The Movie in 3D is released in cinemas on 29th July 2011.
