UK Trailer For Oscar Nominated OUTSIDE THE LAW (Hors-la-loi)

There’s only a few world cinema movies usually get a cinematic release in UK & Ireland, usually reserved for most of the major movies, the rest of the bunch usually get a direct to DVD release and when you mention OUTSIDE THE LAW (Hors-La-Loi) you probably think DVD. Outside the Law is the latest  historical epic from Rachid Bouchareb (DAYS OF GLORY, LONDON RIVER) and takes the director back to his Days Of Glory Days focusing on Algeria’s fight for independence from France a area very close to his heart. This movie was also nominated for Best Forgein movie at this years Oscars awards and thanks to Optimum Releasing the movie will get a limited release in UK&Irish cinemas from May 6th, check out the trailer below:

After loosing their family home in Algeria, three brothers and their mother are scattered across the globe. Messaoud joins the French army fighting in Indochina; Abdelkader becomes a leader of the Algerian independence movement in France and Saïd moves to Paris to make his fortune in the shady clubs and boxing halls of Pigalle. Gradually, their interconnecting destinies reunite them in the French capital, where freedom is a battle to be fought and won

The movie stars Jamel Debbouze, Roschdy Zem and Sami Bouajila.
