This weekend saw the UK&Irish release of Zack Snyder’s SUCKERPUNCH and the week leading upto to the release we have been reading The American reviews and they havent been good (Read Pierre’s review here) after all the positive marketing the movie had especially on the animated shorts, I havent seen the movie so I dont know why its so bad hopefully this Ill find out.Suckerpunch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary (source offical synopsis).
Back in March Collider caught up with Zack Snyder and the girls of the movie Emily Browning and Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens & Jamie Chung along with Carla Gugino and Oscar Isaac and they had a chat about the movie. In Snyders video he talks about the movies rating and the problems he faced trying to edit the movie he also mentions there is 18 extra minutes in the directors cut.
