3 New Clips For Richard Ayaode’s SUBMARINE

Optimum Releasing have today sent us 3 new clips for the much antcipated indie coming of age story  SUBMARINE. The movie is the debut feature film for The IT Crowd’s Richard Ayaode and tells the story of a 15 year old boy whose aim is to loose his virginity to the girl of his dreams and make sure his mother doesnt leave his father. Collider described Submarine as the Indie Scott Pilgrim Vs The World which could be more a statement to get more people interested in the movie but what we’ve seen the movie is good enough even without that comment.

Producers Warp Films (This Is England, Four Lions) and director Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) present a comedy which follows a 15-year old boy with two objectives: to lose his virginity to the girl of his dreams before his next birthday, and to stop his mother (Sally Hawkins) from leaving his father and hooking up with a new age mystic (Paddy Considine). Featuring original songs by Alex Turner and executive produced by Ben Stiller. <
Submarine is “the most refreshing, urgent and original debut the British Industry has seen in years” – The Telegraph

Submarine will be out in UK & Ireland on Friday 18th March and stars Noah Taylor, Paddy Considine, Craig Roberts, Yasmin Paige and Sally Hawkins with Ben Stiller Producing.
