Watch The UK Trailer For RUBBER

Now we know Quentin Dupieux’s Cult Festival hit RUBBER will be coming to UK & Ireland on DVD/Blu-Ray the good folks at Optimum Releasing have unleashed the UK trailer for the movie. Rubber played to a sold out theatre at Glasgow Film Festival and they sold out in a matter of minutes and I really want to see this but thankfully now we know its coming our way very soo.
So what is rubber? Rubber is the story of Robert an abandoned rubber tire dumped in a American desert who suddenly is gifted with the power of telepathy and seems to gain a pyshotic revengeful mind, killing small desert animals eventually onto killing police and women in showers (ala pyscho style!).
Rubber stars Stephen Spinella, Jack Plotnick, Roxane Mesquida, Wings Hauser and Ethan Cohn with the movie been released on DVD & Blu-ray in UK on April 11th.

  1. I really hated Rubber!!! What could have been quite an inspired idea with references from David Lynch, to the horrors of the 50s and 60s, Carpenter’s Christine, and even Duel and Wall-E, in the end comes out as a smug, indulgent and self-congratulatory exercise which should have probably stayed a short film.

    • Yeah I personally cannot imagine how the concept can sustain itself for an entire movie. Don’t we need like, protagonists? or emotional investment?

We’ll have to wait and see till it comes to DVD here!
