Now that its confirmed the movie is now going ahead a flurry of rumours for James Bond movie 23 have surfaced about what its going to be called whose going to be in it and more recently who will be the villian. February we had Ralph Fiennes along with Javier Bardem to play the unspecified villian but now seems Sir Anthony Hopkins name has now been thrown into the James Bond mixer.
The rumour comes from probably most unreliable source of The Sun and according to them the Welsh actor is very close to signing on to become 007’s nemesis however it isn’t clear if there will be dual villians who may work together or seperetely which is leaving the door open still for Bardem.
“The only stumbling block seems to be the number of films he is signing up for. There is a chance the character they want him to play could become a regular feature, like Blofeld back in the day.”
With Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and near confirmed Sam Mendes signed up to direct things are looking a little more settled now and with production on the movie to start later this year do expect some more casting news in the coming months if not weeks.
James Bond 23 is due out November 9th 2012.
