Now that Len Wiseman will be probably more busier on the Total Recall remake 20th Century Fox and Bruce Willis eagerness to do another Die Hard movie (or two) looked to have found there new director in the shape of Noam Murro.
You maybe asking Who? Exactly! The Israeli director’s last time in the director’s chair was in the 2008 indie dramedy SMART PEOPLE the 2008 movie which starred Dennis Qauid,Sarah Jessica Parker and Ellen Page which caught the eye of Fox. As Bruce Willis is involved in the development side of things too, it wasn’t Murro’s first time behind a camera that impressed Mr Yippee Ki Yay it was the director’s impressive Halo pc/video game adverts that did the trick.
Skip Woods (A-Team) has been writing the script since early summer 2010 but if reports going are true that Fox werent impressed with the first draft so Murro’s inclusion could help the scripts progress with a fresh pair of eyes maybe he could bring in someone to help Woods out.
Ill be honest Ive never seen the 4th movie, everytime its on tv I seem to miss it and I even was given the movie on UMD format to watch it on my PSP but unfortunately my PSP is Chinese and the movie was for UK psp’s only! Lets be honest we’ll never match the magic of the first movie and sometimes when a franchise has one too many sequels it can be obivous the film studio’s are trying to live off the original success by fobbing us off mediocre follow ups. Movie two was good and so was number three but is movie 5 or even movie 6 too many movies?
So whats your views on this ? Any old characters you like to see back and who should be the bad guys this and where should the movie be set?
