He searches for redemption in sensing death is near a chance to redeem wrongs of past and to beg for forgiveness as his fate closes in around him, with a guiding hand helping him navigate life’s corridors, whether bright, bad – or Biutiful.
This movie won the Spanish actor the best actor at the 2010 Cannes film festival award and a few days ago at the recent Oscars 2011 nominations when his name was read out for Best actor he was the only name to get a cheer, so could he be a favourite to win the prestigious little golden trophy?We shall see in 4 weeks when the ceremony takes place.

Gee I had to leave halfway through this one….great movie if you’ve never had anything go wrong in your life…. Very dark – you couldn’t watch this one without feeling depressed, scared and jittery…
