International (New Zealand) Trailer For WATER FOR ELEPHANTS

20Th Century Fox New Zealand have released online a new (international) trailer for Francis Lawrence’s WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. The movie is based on a Sara Gruen novel starring Robert Pattison, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, Hal Holbrook and James Frain set during America’s great depression era about a veterinarian who joins a circus after his parents die in a car crash and falls in love. The woman he falls in love with is the wife (Witherspoon) of a cruel violent animal trainer (Waltz).

This movie will especially appeal to female Twilight fans who just love getting a glimpse of there hunky hero Edward aka r-platz  to keep them going until breaking dawn part 1 appears later in the year, though I will say this does look a very exceptional looking movie, can Robert Pattison finally say he’s in a movie the critics will finally enjoy??! As for performances Christoph Waltz is perfect proof that one fantastic performance (Inglorious Basterds) will get you plenty of work, just look at the number of movies he’s appeared in and been offered, so remember kids give it a 110% and the work will follow, just a shame the Nick Cave soundtrack isn in this trailer.

Water For Elephants will be release in UK & Ireland on April 22nd.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Veterinary school student Jacob (Pattinson) meets and falls in love with Marlena (Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds – including the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August (Christopher Waltz) – Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.
