A couple of major news bits from Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES have been confirmed today by Warner Bros that Anne Hathaway has been confirmed to play Catwoman along with Tom Hardy who is to play Bane. In the press release it only confirms Hathaway to play Selina Kyle but not Catwoman Kyle’s alter ego but could this suggest some sort of cgi character to be Catwoman?
We’ve known since the release of Inception in the cinema’s that Tom Hardy was likely to be in Nolan’s third & last Batman movie and for months rumours have floated around the internet on who exactly he’ll play. Hardy was brilliant in Inception and the early gossip on Hardy had him play psychologist Dr Hugo Strange who is more an interesting challange than Bane whose body strength far superior than his brainpower, so does this mean Tom Hardy will be in the gym beefing up?
There has been numerous villians been connected to nthis new movie with femalevillians especially with Talia al Ghul the daughter of Ra Al Guhl, the other one however was to be a unknown love interest. One theory with Hathaways character only been named as Selina Kyle could suggest she may not become her villianous alter-ego in this movie suggestion she may only be a love interest to Bruce Wayne and possibly bringing Catwoman into a fourth movie.
So what do you think guys? surprised, dissapointed or do you have theories suggestions yourself?
