Lionsgate have released a new second trailer for THE LINCON LAWYER starring Matthew McConaughey via Apple Trailers. The movie is an adaptation of a best selling book of the same name by Michael Connelly and sees McConaughey as Mickey Haller and Los Angeles defence lawyer who operates his office from a back of a Lincon sedan. He operates sucessfully and he lands the career changing job of a man accussed of raping a woman but as things start to unveil has Mickey got himself into deep waters with this case, to the point his family are under threat?
This trailer now gives a little more insight into the story showing the story will be a little more complex and looks not bad so far and Matthew McConaughey needs a decent box office turnout for the sake of his own movie career as things at the moment dont seem to be going anywhere. If this movie doesnt help start the ball rolling maybe he should try get into a movie by Darren Aaronofosky as he seems to be good at ressurecting careers just ask Mickey Rourke!
THE LINCON LAWYER also has co-staring Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, William H. Macy, John Leguizamo, Michael Pena, Trace Adkins, Katherine Moennig, Erin Carufel with Brad Furman directing and the movie will be out on March 18th,2011
Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of his career: defending Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), a Beverly Hills playboy accused of rape and attempted murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller.
