Traileraddict have posted online 4 new promo clips from the up and coming Coen Brothers Adaptation of the Classic John Wayne Western TRUE GRIT.
The first clip ‘Your Not Going’ shows the shock of Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges) been told by Matie (Hailee Stansfield) that she’s coming with him, the second clip is called ‘No Affridavit’ which shows Matie trying o come to a agreement with Tom (Josh Brolin) to release her. Third clip is called ‘One Eyed Man’ when LaBoeuf (Matt Damon) blames Cogburn for shooting him and the final clip is ‘Texas Ranger’ is when LaBouef tells Mattie he’s a Texas Ranger , yeehaa!!!
I’m not a Western fan but I seem to be drawn to the performances and the dark grittier edge this movie has compared to previous western movies and of course the performance of Hailee Stansfield and she’s gave a star performance showing up some pretty good experienced actors, dont be surprised if she’s in for a oscar.
TRUE GRIT will be out in UK on January 14th and December 22nd USA.
