I your a mad fanatic of comedy movies I;ll assume you;ll be a big fan of both of these actors Will Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis. Both are very similar in style, crazy, frantic but very hilarious style which has taken myself a while to get the grips of but now both will be clashing in a new political comedy o be directed by Austin Powers/ Meet The Parents director Jay Roach.
According to Deadline the idea of a movie has been shipped around th film studios which sees Galifinakis and Ferrell as two political candidates running for the presidental elections in 2012. The report also goes onto say that a female candidate should be hrown into the lions den with this idea with Tina Fey been that possibility though she is very busy at the moment (recent American presidental elections!) and the whole idea of a political comedy could be a good idea as there doesnt seem to be many created with In The Loop been the last.
As for the movies possible director Jay Roach he isnt a stranger to politics as he made a emmy award winning TV movie Recount for HBO based on the 2000 election results between Al Gore and George W. Bush, but we can say this idea wont be heavy on a political view or drama leving comedy to be the biggest factor here. If the reports are true this movie seems to be onto a winner here with potential film studios lining up to sign this movie up and with two poplar inform comedy actors possibly involved its just a matter of time this projects starts shooting , so all they need now is a good writer, any suggestions?
