Jack Black‘s GULLIVER’S TRAVELS gets its first tv spot as we creep closer to its release on December 26th. I’m not a fan of Jack Black or any of the movies he’s done, never found him funny at all and every week I go to the cinema they have that orange mobile advert and you can here people actually wetting themselves with laughter, to nothing?! Okay this one is for the kids and if they find it funny as well as enjoyable its job done for Jack Black & co.
Gulliver’s Travel is a a contemporary re–imagining of the classic tale written by Jonathan Swift which sees Jack Black as Lemuel Gulliver a travel wrier sent on assignment to Bermuda but ends up on the island of Liliput, where he towers over its tiny citizens who first enslave him to only become there hero.
Gulliver’s Travels also co-stars Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, Chris O’Dowd, T.J. Miller, James Corden, Catherine Tate, Emmanuel Quatra, Olly Alexander and Richard Laing.
