A New Clip And Featurette From THE TEMPEST

A new clip and Featurette for Julie Taymor‘s adaptation of Shakespeare’s mystical thriller The Tempest have appeared online.I dont know about elsewhere but in UK in English class William Shakespeare’s plays are a stable diet of your education and they are very complexed stories which are dark, humourous, romantic and damn right bizzare and I’ve only witnessed oe person eer belly laugh at Shakespeare’s humour , that was my then English teacher. 99% of the time Shakespeare stories seem to work well on stage with the occasional tv drama but rarely have they worked on the big screen and possibly why the movie so far has received mixed reviews. Despite the mixed response the whole look ofthe new movie does look very dark, but fantastic I dont know if I want to see the movie and the movie may struggle at the box office genrally though people brought up on the great bards work may sadly the only people to appreciate the movie.

Below is the first clip from th movie thanks to Coming Soon which shows Prospera (Helen Mirren) confronting Caliban (Djimon Hounsou). Traileraddict provid the second video a behind the scenes featurette which is an in depth look ino the movies story along with cast & crew interviews.

THE TEMPEST stars Russell Brand, Reeve Carney, Tom Conti, Chris Cooper, Alan Cumming, Felicity Jones, Alfred Molina, David Strathairn and Ben Whishaw and will be out nationwide 4th March UK & Ireland and Friday 10th December USA.
