last week the first trailer for Massy Tadjedin‘s Romantic Drama LAST NIGHT starring Keira Knightley, Sam Worthington, Eva Mendes and Guillaume Canet, but there was one little snag if was only in Italian but Pathe Films have now unveiled the English speaking trailer today.
The movie is based around a married couple who spend a night away from each other and the husband has to work away with a female collegue he is attracted to (Mendes can you blame him?!) but his wife runs into one of here old loves.
This is one of those movies you sort of here of when the idea comes out as gossip of whose in it and then disappears only to reappear as the marketing starts for the movie. The marketing for this hasnt been the best and though the trailer does cram alot of the plot into 2 small minutes you feel it could spoil it if your interested in watching it when it comes out. Hopefully not as the early festival reviews for the movie have been positive and the movie doesnt have that Hollywood feel to it, more european like french noir-esque which should make it an interesting movie to check out.
LAST NIGHT is been distributed by Pathe in UK though no date date has been confirmed yet, likely to be 2011, as for the American release no date at all has been mentioned. The qaulirty of the trailer is a bit on the grainy side but when a better qaulity trailer comes out ill update this post.
