its seems to be the day for The British movies and another Ken Bruen novel based movie (London Boulevard, last post)BLITZ which stars Jason Statham, David Morrisey, Paddy Comsidine, Luke Evans and Aiden Gillan.
Since he done Snatch Jason Statham has been in a number of run of the mill action movies with an American accent and like it or not he does give a decent badass performance as a tough guy and he gets the chance to be himself as a British cop who is let loose to catch a Serial cop killer. This movies does have the suarve styleings of Snatch and the hard edginess of his other movies and frankly I may end up actually enjoying one of his movies for a change!
Until today I honestly never heard anything about this movie and its the second feature movie for filmmaker Elliott Lester (other movie been 2006’s Love Is The Drug starring Darryl Hannah & Lizzy Caplan) who made a career creating music videos, Nathaniel Parker (Moon) wrote the screenplay.
Lionsgate are distributing this movie which has nt got an exact release date apart from been released 2011.
