Next week is Halloween the time when ghouls ‘n’ ghosts as well as monsters of all shapes and sizes have their wicked fun on the world for one night only and to celebrate Halloween Vertigo Films have sent me A New Featurette and Audio Clip (from the soundtrack) from Gareth Edwards MONSTERS have debuted online.
The New featurette looks at the science of the movie where director Gareth Edwards and Astrobiology Professor, Lewis Dartnell discuss the possibility of life on other planets! I have also included the previous featurette which I believe I never postedplus along with the featurettes there is an audio clip from the movies soundtrack as well produced by Jon Hopkins.
Monsters has a small roadshow touring some of the UK’s cities (but not Scotland which is part of UK) where the movie is been screened (I think)along with a Q& A session after the screening, here’s the dates:
· Saturday 30th October – Nottingham
This event takes place alongside an exclusive BAFTA ‘Making Monsters’ Masterclass in which Gareth will take audiences behind the scenes of his remarkable debut feature to explain how his creatures were made and how anyone can take on Hollywood armed with a laptop and some off-the-shelf special effects software!

· Monday 1st November – Bristol

· Tuesday 2nd November – Newcastle
Synopsis
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America.
Soon after, new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”…
Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
Monsters will be out in UK & Ireland from December 3rd , out now in North America.
