Offical U.K Trailer For MARY AND MAX

Soda Pictures have sent me the offical UK Trailer for the 2009 Sundance clayanimation hit MARY AND MAX in time for its UK cinematic release this Friday 22nd October.

The movie is of those ones whilst promoting film festivals it catches your eye and you say to yourself “I hope it gets shown here (uk)” and despite a year on since its 2009 festival circuit it now arrives here in the UK!

MARY AND MAX is a clayography feature film from Academy Award® winning writer/director Adam Elliot and producer Melanie Coombs, featuring the voice talents of Toni Collette, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Barry Humphries and Eric Bana.Spanning 20 years and 2 continents, MARY AND MAX tells of a pen-pal relationship between two very different people: Mary Dinkle (Collette), a chubby, lonely 8-year-old living in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia; and Max Horovitz (Hoffman), a severely obese, 44-year-old Jewish man with Asperger’s Syndrome living in the chaos of New York City.

To celebrate the release of MARY AND MAX in cinemas on 22nd October SODA PICTURES are running a  competition on the theme Where do babies come from? Head Over to the movies website for details
