Over the past few days we’ve been hearing about American movie fans getting the chance to check out the first 20 minutes of December’s antcipated release of TRON LEGACY. So what about the UK fans? Fear not Disney UK have today released a press statement that a UK ‘Tron Night’ willalso happen in selected cinemas& Imax cinemas around the country!
October 28th is the night British Tron fans can catch that exclusive 20 plus minutes of the movie, so where’s it all happening and how do I get the tickets? Headover to DisneyScreenings and type LEGACY to get your tickets but remember it will be on a first come first served basis, so head over right away to grab those tickets as this will sell out really quickly!

LONDON, UK. (October 10, 2010) — Walt Disney Studios announced today, October 10, 2010 (“10-10-10”), TRON Night the kickoff of the official 10-week countdown to the release of TRON: Legacy, which opens in cinemas December 17, 2010:
TRON Night: 3D and IMAX Experience, a special event on October 28, 2010, that will give audiences worldwide the first opportunity to step onto the Grid and into the cutting-edge, 3D world of Walt Disney Pictures’ high-tech adventure “TRON: Legacy,” during an exciting 20-plus-minute sneak peek of the highly anticipated film, sponsored by Asus Computer International.
TRON Night, only at select IMAX and 3D theatres nationwide and 3D & IMAX 3D theatre internationally, will offer a special screening of thrilling, never-before-seen 3D footage. “It’s exciting to offer fans an early, exclusive 3D preview of ‘TRON: Legacy’ in the ultimate of formats. We can’t wait for audiences around the world to experience the visually stunning and cutting-edge world that director Joe Kosinski has created,” said Sean Bailey, President of Production, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
