I cant remember the last time I’ve actually seen Johnny Depp in a role without any pirate gear on wearing silly hats kicking around with Alice or been a eccentric reculsive chocolate factory owner. Well here is the the first trailer for his new movie starring alongside Mrs Pitt aka Angelina Jolie in the Drama-Thriller THE TOURIST.
You can usually back on Johnny to pull in the movie fans with anything he does and even to a lesser exent Angelina Jolie as well but watching this trailer you do get concerns over the movie not been successfull due to Knight & Day (which I actually enjoyed) as they both have similar properties. The movie does have that fun element, great music and most of all looks sexy and dangerous which the trailer seems to show the duo’s seductive side.
The Tourist doesnt have a UK release yet but December 10th is when it’ll be out in USA. The movie is directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and also stars Paul Bettany, Timothy Dalton, Rufus Sewell, Raol Bova and Steven Berkoff.

Looks interesting, mainly because Depp is actually playing someone normal. Hopefully, this can live up to the hype it’s going to be getting for awhile now.
