The First Full Trailer For PRIEST

The first full offical trailer for PRIEST has been posted on line by Screen Gems. The movie is adapted from a manga inspired graphic novel by Korean artist Min-Woo Hyung set in a post-apocalyptic world where a Priest played by Paul Bettnay who disobeys the church after his nice was abducted by Vampires who he must trackdown.

The trailer which came out around July was taken down abruptly by the studio with no reason during Comic Con but now nearly 2 months later the trailer is now offical .The action is top notch and is also visually fantastic but some people in movieworld have been moving with caution simply due to the movie been directed Legion director Scott Stewart, fingers crossed this one will do better.

Priest has been scheduled for a May 2011 release so do expect another trailer or two before then .The movie  also stars Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Karl Urban, Lilly Collins, Stephen Moyer, Alan Dale and Christopher Plummer.

A post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires – Priest revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
