Lionsgate USA have just sent me a new poster for Paul Haggis thriller THE NEXT THREE DAYS starring Elizabeth Banks, Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson, Olivia Wilde, RZA, Brian Dennehy and Jonathan Tucker.
The movie is based on a adaptation of the 2008 French movie Anything for her on which a woman(Banks) is arrested for a gruesome murder she says never commited and her husband(Crowe) and he’s struggling to cope and attempts to break her out. Looking at the trailer plenty of tension, emotions and of course action to keep everyone happy and it looks a good one for January to kick off 2011 as if its any better or worse than the original I dont know as Ive not seen it, any of you guys?
THE NEXT THREE DAYS is out in UK& Ireland on January 7th, 2011 and USA release may struggle as its November 19th, 2010 which is the release day of the first Part of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows!
Life seems perfect for John Brennan until his wife, Lara, is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she didn’t commit. Three years into her sentence, John is struggling to hold his family together, raising their son and teaching at college while he pursues every means available to prove her innocence. With the rejection of their final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and John decides there is only one possible, bearable solution: to break his wife out of prison. Refusing to be deterred by impossible odds or his own inexperience, John devises an elaborate escape plot and plunges into a dangerous and unfamiliar world, ultimately risking everything for the woman he loves.
