E1 Entertainment have debuted online a new (uk) international trailer for RED along with a brilliant looking Qaud poster as well. Watched The Expendables at the weekend and the first trailer was one of the previews and I’m really excited to see this and now we have an UK date of October 22nd I week after the American release. How dumb am I ? I’ve been wondering why its called RED, but the only remaining brain cell I have clicked at the weekend that its stands for Retired Extremely Dangerous!
This looks an fun movie you can see the cast gelled well it is an impressive cast of Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman and Mary Louise Parker but we cant forget the rest of cast which includes Judge Dredd himself aka Karl Urban, Brian Cox and Richard Dreyfuss, minus the Piranha bites.
As for the trailer about roughly half of the trailer is stuff we’ve seen before but the other half has a few extra bits we havent seen and check that exit from a spinning copcar by mr yipee kaiyee Bruce Willis, he’s da Man!
Frank Moses (Willis), Joe Matheson (Freeman), Marvin Boggs (Malkovich) and Victoria Winslow (Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents, – but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. Frank, who was the agency’s most effective black ops agent of all time must now track down and reassemble the old team. First on the list is intelligence specialist Joe who is charming, disarming and lethal! Next is hysterically paranoid Marvin – an explosives expert with more lives than a cat….or pig! And finally, a dangerous decision is to enlist the help of hot shot sniper Victoria! As the team are searching for the answers to the conspiracy that implicates them, the new CIA agents, led by family man William Cooper (Urban) are searching for them! As the old school attempt to kick-fresh-agent-ass, experience is pitted against youth and the big guns are called in.
