According to a report by According to Pajiba, Topher Grace, Paul Rudd and Kristen Wiig are to star in the indie drama Bobby Blue Sky. The Script is written by Emily Kapnek (Parks and Recreation) with the story focusing on three dysfunctional siblings coming to terms with the way their baby brother’s accidental fame as a character in their father’s children’s book series warped their lives.
Very little at the moment is known on this project apart from that The Gotham Group are producing this movie and they are also the group invovled in Taylor Lautner’s Abduction movie and Emily Knapnek also wrote episode Hung which recently finished a late night run on channel 4 in the uk. No director has been connected yet to this project but I’m sure that’ll change very shortly when you have 3 talented actors to be involved.
Topher Grace can be seen in Predators remake but will next be seen Kids in America and will be seen co-starring with Richard Gere in the spy-thriller The Double. As for Kristen Wiig her next appearence on the big screen will be next year in the sci-fi comedy Paul next to Simon Pegg & Nick Frost but she also has Bridemaids coming up which she co-wrote. Paul Rudd has a busy schedule with James L Brooks How Do We Know the romcom starring Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson (playing his dad!!) which is out late January 2011 but now he is making My Idiot Brother with Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, and Emily Mortimer.
