FrightFest 2010: TheTrailer & Poster For THE DEAD

This morning this was emailed to me, its the full offical trailer for The Ford Borthers(Howard & John) THE DEAD. If you are a fan of all things zombie and do like your movies old school style mashed up with some new movies this movie you should check out this movie which will have it’s World premiere at the Film4 Frightfest on Monday August 30th.

“As we gear up for the world premiere at FrightFest London on Mon 30th August and the US premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 24th we bring you a brand new trailer for The Dead with never seen before footage from the film and a much better insight to the vibe Jon & I were going for, in this journey across Africa with the living dead in constant pursuit..  So, sit back, turn up the volume and enjoy The Dead coming at you!’

For those who have been able to secure premiere tickets to FrightFest, you’ll get the chance to ask the Ford Brothers any burning questions in a Q &A and you’ll also be able to mingle with the two leads who are also flying in for the premiere (Rob Freeman from Canada and Prince David Osei from Ghana) along with many other cast & crew members. After crashing off the coast of Africa in a plane, Lt. Brian Murphy (Rob Freeman) battles for survival across inhospitable parched terrain in search of a way to get back to his beloved family in America. Saved by local military man Sgt. Daniel Dembele (Prince David Osei), who is also searching for his son, both men join forces to fight the ever-present flesh-eating threat stalking the bush.

    • love to to see it too im a bit of an zombiemovie fan! whenever im really bored ive got a habit of flicking my dawn of the dead dvds (both versions), you can beat a bit of zombie fun no matter the budget!

        Love Dawn of the Dead and of course Shaun of the Dead – super funny! I think The Dead is going to be a bit of a treat for Zombie fans and non Zombie fans alike…

    The poster sux – the trailer on the other hand has completely grabbed my attention. You got to love a good zombie flick, they are a a rarity these days!

    Go Lt. Brian Murphy & Sgt. Daniel Dembele… Can’t wait to see this one. It looks super good. Like those before me the poster is a bit of a let down.
