Today in the UK & Ireland the release of THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE from Walt Disney is released.
The movie is an live action updated version of the classic Disney animated short Fantasia starring Mickey Mouse away back in 1942. In the modern version is set in New York with Nicholas Cage as the Sorcerer Balthazar Blake who recruits an average guy from the street Dave played by Jay Baruchel to train him to defend NYC from his arch nemesis Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina).
Our good friends at Screenrush caught up with Nicholas Cage, Jay Baruchel and director Jon Turtletaub had a chat about the movie and just below that is a quickfire interview with the movies producer Jerry Bruckheimer where he answers questions from the Screenrush viewers.
