I think we can say the majority of us all enjoyed Kick-Ass and how much we look forward to watching the sequel in a few years time along with next months release of the movie on DVD (UK – 6th Sept USA-Out Now!!!) but any talk of Kick-Ass members such as Aaron Johnson Joining Matthew Vaughn on X-Men First class the answer is NO!
Rumours had been rife that Johnson aka Kick-Ass himself was to play Cyclops in Vaughn’s X-Men prequel and last month AICN saying the whole thing was a done deal for only EW to say Aaron Johnson isnt going to be in the movie full stop. But today MovieWeb have posted a little chat they had with Tarquin Pack the producer of Kick-Ass as well as X-Men:First Class confirmed whilst asked about Johnson:
“Don’t believe everything you read in the papers about Aaron, unfortunately. Aaron’s kind of busy, yeah.”
The Question people will ask was he or wasn’t he giong to be involed in the movie? We dont really know possibly him been Kick-Ass and the usual relationship of director-actor following each other to different movies probably caught someones attention though his may have been mentioned been involved in some way, but mentioning a person name doesnt mean anything. The Playlist tell us why he’s kind of busy, he has become a father for the first time at the age of 20 to 43 year old film directot Sam Taylor-Wood and she gave birth to a girl called Wylda Rae.
Aaron Johnson was also rumoured to be in the running to be Peter Parker aka Spiderman which went to English actor Andrew Garfield (Never Let Me Go, Social Network). So who can we say are confirmed to appear in the X-Men?
James MacAvoy (Charles Xavier) Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alice Eve (Emma Frost), Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Kevin Bacon as a unknown villian and Ed Garthegi as Darwin. There is also 2 big rumours of 2 other characters of Rosamund Pike as Moira McTaggert and Lucas Till as Havok along with those rumors there has also been talk possibly the characters Multiple Man and Willow maybe in the movie possibly only as background characters.
X-MEN:FIRST CLASS is scheduled for a June 3rd 2011 US release date.
