‘Evacuate Immediately’ Here’s The Offical Full Trailer For Gareth Edward’s MONSTERS

Vertigo Films have just sent me the first full offical trailer for Gareth Edwards MONSTERS which will be out in UK on November 12th. I’ve actually been tracking this movie via my other blog Cinehouse as well via website Twitch at first I never took much notice until the clip was released for SXSW fest in Austin Texas and when I realised it was a British made movie I really opened my eyes. The movie played at this Years Edinburgh Film Festival and I tried unsucessfully to get into to see it but it was sold out.

Gareth Edwards is one of the many movie directors out there in movieland who are adapting to the world’s economic financial crisis by multi-tasking cost-effective film making and many studio’s are buying this style of creating movies. You just have to look at some of the micro-budget movies such as Paranormal Activity, Colin which have become sucessfull movies in there own right and some of the special effects where crated in Gareth’s own bedroom and you’ll see not a bad job.

Many see Monsters as U.K’s version of District 9 and you can see that in the posters as visually it does have a little inspiration but throw in a bit of Cloverfield and this looks a fantastic movie!
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America.
Soon after, new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”…
