Today is definitely a day for Zach Galifianakis fans on the trailer front when this morning we had It’s A Funny Story trailer and tonight and now we have the first trailer for his other movie DUE DATE.
Galifianakis is in familiar territory as the movie is directed by The Hangover director Todd Phillips and this time he is joined by Robert Downey Jnr, Juliette Lewis, Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan, Alan Arkin and RZA and this movie has been labelled as the follow up to The Hangover.
So if this is going to be the follow up to The Hangover we must be expecting same type of humour but with different actors and if Downey Jnr comes out with a bit of his humour style from tropic thunder they will be onto to a winner it does have a bit of Planes Trains Automobiles in it too. Ill admit wasn’t the Hamgovers biggest fan (I was even ripped apart on forum of a certain well known movie magazine because I didnt like it, I wasnt even abusive just said I didnt like it).
Peter Highman is an expectant first-time father whose wife’s due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan–on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter’s last nerve.
As usual no UK/Irish release date but the movie is down to be released but November 5th is the ‘Due Date’, bad joke time!
Vodpod videos no longer available.
