Like our trailers we like out featurettes here at The Peoples Movies and Disney seem to love them too especially for Prince Of Persia:Sands Of Time. The Featurette below comes from Disney Austraila is called ‘Destiny’ and focuses on Tamina, Gemma Arterton’s character and how she fits into the movies story. I know you all love his English accent and we’ll get a bit more Jake Gyllenhaal’s ify accent.
Below is also the final poster for the movie which ties in with the final trailer from last week and as American audiences watched the Tron Legacy trailer (the one we got on Tuesday), UK audiences had Prince of Persia trailer before Alice in Wonderland.
Prince of Persia :Sands of Time will be out in UK & Ireland on May 21st (possibly same for USA if not May 28th), the movie also stars Alfred Molina and Sir Ben Kingsley and Duad Shah.
imdb synopsis:Set in medieval Persia, the story of an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it’s up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time.
