Trailer heaven today! Universal Pictures have released another new full trailer (third in total) for Ridley Scott’s ROBIN HOOD.What we’ve learned from the previous 2 trailers that Ridley Scott has went for the more gladiator style action robin hood, a loyal soldier for King Richard rather than the camp erol Flynn meets Kevin Costner mullet style Robin Hood. The character is still protrayed as a man of the people as well as embracing a legendary mythological hero, instead of the campiness we get more a civil war type battle rather than dick turpin style seiges.
This trailer does gives us a little more insight on what the story will be about and of course lots of bow and arrow action oh boy this just looks better and better every time we see something new on it, so when is it out? Scheduled for a May 14th release date in UK, Ireland & USA.
Robin Hood stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Durand, Mark Strong, Matthew MacFadyen, Max Von Sydow, Danny Huston and Willian Hurt.
