Solomon Kane: New Clips and Featurette

Share Share

Ever since I posted Solomon Kane Russian then English Speaking teaser trailer Ive been getting very excited about this movie. Today a new snazzy video widget has been released featuring many new clips, a behind the scenes featurette and a hi-def version of the recent trailer.

Its been a while since we had anything from this movie so I was glad this morning to find something new online and giving us a much better look at the movie. This is actually a independently made movie with an $40million budget and its alot better looking than many of the big budget made movies. The production design and the monsters seem to be very good and you can see how good they are by watching the hall of mirrors scene which looks like a few brown trouser moments.

James Pufroy plays Solomon Kane (Rome tv series) along with a fantastic cast of Pete Postlethwaite, Mackenzie Crook (Pirates of Carribbean, the office),  Jason Flemyng, Alice Krige and Max Von Sydow. The movie has been directed Michael J Bassett and based on the character created by Robert E Howard, the man who created Conan The Barbarian. Soloman Kane is shaping up to be one hell of movie and I think itll surprise some of its doubters big style.

Soloman Kane will be released in UK & Ireland from 5th February 2010.
