Here is a new extended TV spot for THE LOVELY BONES by Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh and Phillipa Boyens. When you create a masterpeice like Lord Of The Rings Trilogy and pulling it off so brillantly it does seem to put the pressure on you for your next movie to be just as fantastic if not better but King Kong was good but also a big let down. Roll on 2009 District 9 got Peter Jackson and co back on track and now The Lovely Bones is his new one the question will be asked about if this is good or not.
Recently the movies world premiere was held and the early reviews are very mixed unfortunately more bad than good reviews which is a shame as this movie does look good. Below is an extended tv spot for the movie which just show you a little more of Peter Jackson vision of Heaven (CGI) with more scenes and story as well thrown in for good measure. I do hope this movie will end up good, like the way The Road which was recently released in USA which had early poor reviews and is now getting more positive – excellent reviews. It does share similar problems with the Road that it trys to protray a vision of heaven which can only be done through a persons vision rather than a true vision with the road a vision of post apoclyptic earth.
The Lovely Bones will be in all British and Irish cinemas from January 29th 2010.
