It opened the BFI 53rd London Film Festival and will be out in UK/Ireland next Friday 23rd (USA November 25th) THE FANTASTIC MR FOX.
The stop animation movie is based on the classic Roald Dahl childrens book of the same name directed by The Royal Tennenbaums director wes anderson. George Clooney, Meyrll Streep, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Brian Cox , Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, Michael Gambon and even Jarvis Cocker!!! have voice many of the characters. With the great cast behind it and been a Roald Dahl novel I think this will do very well, but I do personally think the characters look a little creepy though it is good to see a director not taking the typical route of cgi animation and sticking to more traditional methods.
