First trailer for the thriller MESSAGES DELETED from Phone Booth/Cuellar writer Larry Cohen has arrived at The Poeples Movies HQ.

Lead role is played Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo, Scream movies) who plays Joel Bradnt a screenwriter who recieves a number of voicemails from a frightened woman begging him to answer but he ignores them and deletes the messeges. Brandt dismisses the messeges as pranks but the young woman is later found dead.

The messeges keep coming  and so do the killings and before you know it he is the prime suspect, Joel Brandt must delve deep into his libary of work to discover why the killer is targetting him before its too late. Deborah Kara Unger (Crash, Silent Hill) plays detective Lavery who is assigned to the case, I have to say this movie has an very cheesy film title but is the movie just as cheesy?

The movie is the directoral debut for Rob Cowan who is currently producing the remake of George C Romero’s Crazies (out 26th February 2010) which stars Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell. Im sure if you enjoyed the Scream, I Know What you Did Last summer mixed in with movies that run against the clock you will like this. The trailer shows the movie isn’t that bad alot better than the crap in the cinemas the past week or two.

No offical date yet but in February 2010 the movie will be shown to the European market in Germany and expect roughly the same time for this to hit the British/Irish cinema’s.
