TIFF 2010: Offical Trailer For David Schwimmer’s TRUST
source Tiffreviews
I was doing a little searching around to see if any new trailer have appeared for any of the Toronto Film Festival programme. I already had several of the movies which I posted on the original post about the festival but Ive come across the the festival trailer youtube page and the offical first trailer for TRUST.
The movie stars Clive owen & Catherine Keener as parents of Liana Liberato who targeted by an online sexual predator, a sensative subject but unfortunately theses lowlifes exsist. The movie stars also Viola Davis with Friends actor turn director David Schwimmer whose last effort Run Fat Boy Run was an a massive dissapointment and i’m affraid this looks more a TV drama rather than a cinematic drama though it does look like a slight improvement than his previous movie.
Schwimmer departs from his comedic roots in this drama that examines the aftermath of a young girl’s seduction by an online sexual predator. Owen and Keener are perfectly cast as the grieving parents, but newcomer Liberato’s slow-burning self-realization and climactic breakdown is undeniably heartrending.
